Each journey includes a minimum of one preparation session that takes place approximately one week before your scheduled ceremony. In this session, your guide will help you clarify your intentions, create a safe and supportive set and setting, discuss logistics and address any spiritual or emotional considerations to ensure you are fully prepared for your journey. Due to the intensity and disorienting nature of the experience, N,N-DMT is not a beginner’s medicine. It is not typically recommended as a first psychedelic encounter. We encourage journeyers to have previous experience with expanded states of consciousness—such as through psilocybin, breathwork, or deep meditation—before engaging this sacrament. A solid foundation of self-awareness, nervous system regulation, and integration practices is essential.

The Journey Day will be held in the location of your choosing—whether that’s your home, a trusted space, or one of our sacred spaces in Denver, CO or Orlando, FL (available by request). Your guide will travel to you and will hold a safe, grounded container for your experience. This includes providing the sacred sacrament, an opening ritual, guidance through the medicine journey, and supportive practices such as music, breathwork, and energy work, when appropriate.

One week after your ceremony, you’ll meet again with your guide for your integration session. Integration is the process of making meaning out of what you experienced and bringing it into your daily life. This might involve changes in relationships, boundaries, habits, or even how you see yourself and your purpose. Without integration, it’s possible to be left with confusion, overwhelm, or the urge to chase another experience rather than digest the one you’ve already had.

Our guides are trained to hold space with care, and may also offer tools, practices, or referrals to help support your next steps.

The SPORE Foundation is a 508(c)(1)(A) faith-based religious organization, recognized under federal law as a spiritual community with protections to practice our ceremonial and sacramental traditions. As such, we do not operate as a commercial business or retreat center. Our offerings are not “services for sale”—they are spiritual experiences shared in sacred reciprocity.
